Lions Club Pine Dorado Car Show in Cambria, California Sept. 6th 2009!!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

On Sunday September 6th, 2009 the Lions Club will be having their 3rd annual Pine Dorado Car Show. All proceeds go to the Cambria Lions Pine Dorado Foundation Charities. The entry fee is $35.00. This is Labor Day weekend. This show was brought to our attention by our Member G1(GregTheUpsMan). Thank you Greg for doing so much of the leg work for us and everyone else who will attend this show. I'm thankful for your initiative. There is lodging available at the Cambria Pines Lodge. You get a pretty nice discount for reserving online at their website. Currently they are 50% full for that weekend already. There are approximately 70 rooms left with a wide range of prices. If you want to stay somewhere else then we'll still meet you at the Lodge to roll in together. I plan on going up to Cambria EARLY Saturday morning, staying Saturday and Sunday night and leaving Monday. There is a two night minimum stay at the Lodge. If you just want to come for the show, that's fine too.

I have also arranged a place for us to wash and detail our cars on Saturday. We will have access to soft water, power washers, and a wash bay. For any Challenger owner in Central or Northern California, you are welcome to attend with us. This is a great opportunity to bring your significant other and make a weekend out of it as well. Hearst Castle is minutes away, and Pasa Robles wineries are just minutes to the East. They are only letting in 150 cars and as of today they are at 90 cars registered.

This one sounds fun and I think I will be able to attend with "Challenge HER". I will know more after Aug. 1st when we get back from the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing Western Conference Finals in Denver. (Bandimere Raceway)

I think RBart is locked in as well. He posted that on our team forum. It's going to be a "Silver Sweep!"

I sent my entry forms this week. I am looking forward to meeting all of you in Cambria. I am really excited about driving there via Highway 1 and Big Sur.

There has been a lot of talk in the NCC about a group going down. We'll have to wait and see what shakes out of that.

Would be great to see some NCC cars there..Just remember they only let in a small amount of cars because of limited space so if they're going to go, they need to register soon

I'm excited about the entire weekend myself. You guys are going to have one heck of a scenic drive coming down, that's for sure!
