I have read that +18 would be best for 22" but I guess +20 is ok too and will not rub?
I will be using Eibach Sportline lowering springs.
So what im in need to know is,
Is +18 or +20 considered to be Low or High offset?
Some of the wheels websites I visited don't actually list the offset. It just says "Low Offset or High Offset". So which would I choose? I know I probably should just give them a call but this is something I'd like to know as far as the Challenger goes.
Not sure what the term you are using relates to...I only know if positive and negative offset. Offset is measured from the center line of the rim. Positive is any measurement away from the centerline( <--- I ) to the outside of the wheel. Negative is just the opposite. Backspacing is the distance from the back of the mounting surface to the outside of the rim. For example - a 10"wide rim with the SRT offset of +25mm = 6.5" backspacing. A 10" wide rim with the R/T / SE offset of +18mm = 6.2" backspacing. Sooo, the less offset or more negative offset, the farther out the wheel will sit from the car. What this means is the wider the wheel, the less the offset to keep the wheel inside the wheel housing...make sense? Personally, I have 9" wide SRT wheels @ +25mm offset...when I finally find the rims (it took me two years the last time I shopped) I have to have - will be looking for +15 - +20 (range for options) offset @ 10.5" wide rim.
The low and high offsets that you read about is stupid. It is all relative to a car.
The challenger low zone is about 15mm and the higher is about 30 mm. (this depends on the width of your rim also)
The most common is about 20mm. I like the 18" mm because the wheels usually sit flush with the lip. 30mm sink in the wheel well too much and can give you problems with wide wheels hitting the inside.
Muscle cars back in the day had zero or negative offsets. Thats how the wheels were so deep dished even at a 8" wide rim.

Thanks for all the responses everyone! Greatly appreciated.
This is what I was talking about. Click the link than read the description/Title... It just says Low Offset...It doesn't give exact offset details, Therefore I was asking what would be considered low or high offset...

I've seen that wheel on a SRT. They looked really good with the fit and stance. The offsets seem just right.
Again, search that wheel in google with "Challenger". Hopefully you get a link with a owner with the wheels.
