Thanks for your kind words. I am a car enthusiast at heart and love going to car events so much I thought it would be fun to put one together and bring together folks with interest in the same vehicles as me. We did a 1-day event last year and had a great time, now with a year under our belts and a whole lot more planning we are doing a 2-day event that should easily end up being THE LX EVENT of 2008!!!

I feel everyone's pain on waiting for their Challenger. I am looking forward to seeing and hearing one in person. It is on my wishlist of vehicles too but holding out for a red one (maybe in 2010?).

If you think that you MIGHT be the person coming the furthest, keep track of your miles. I would suggest that you clear the trip odometer and follow that up with a MAPQUEST printout to help prove your miles. It will be more than worth your time to do so. This is for people that are driving to the meet.

Pretty good "heads up" Turbo. Guess I'd be a pretty good contender for furthest distance driving, if you look at Canada and U.S. , but there's probably some Mexican enthusiasts.

I have not heard from any of our LX family members from the southern border yet, but know of 3 coming from the northern border and maybe a few from the west coast.

Was going to book regardless of status of receipt of Challenger, but . just checked work schedule, and I'm working offshore during those dates. Too bad !! Would have been a great "road trip". Pretty sure "6 Pack" and I would have hooked up for that. (Chally Rally ?)
