Baby steps, folks! They can't give us everything at once. If they build it (WHEN), I'm sure it will run for more then a few years. So every year it will get better and better. If they gave us the 6.4 say with 500 hp right out of the shoot, than after 2 or 3 years we will want a 575 hp 426 HEMI !!! A friend of mine worked for the General back in the 80's and he told me that you would be amazed at how far ahead they are working. Before the first C4 Corvette ever rolled off of the assembly line they were already drawing and preparing for the C5 (which came 13 tears later)! Have faith. It will come. I don't think DCX will build a NEW model to compete with say the new Shelby GT500, and underpower it. SAY IT and PRAY IT. 392 392 392 392 392. Who knows; in 5 years we might be looking at a 426 Hemi Superbee.

I will buy the challenger SRT8, even with the 6.1 hemi. I love the challenger that much. It will not be a match for the mustang GT500 with 475 hp. I also read that the new camaro will run in the 12s. The mustang and camaro will compete with each other.

The new Camaro might run 12s in about 5 years, it is still just a rumour.

Well I just put my order in 2 weeks ago for the Challenger, and was assured it will have the 6.4 in it with the 6 speed Viper transmission, also i was told it will be available in Orange and Plum Crazy Purple. And the Kicker is I'll have 1 of the first 10 to come off the line in Canada.

I'm curious as to who is making these assurances... Although I'm certainly hoping you are right.
