I was a live sound engineer for years and have played guitar most of my life. I'm a bit of a gear wh$e , i'm always buying and selling amps and guitars. Anyone else out there in to the music and gear.

Not a musician by any means, I noodle around in my spare room where I keep my gear. A '66 Mosrite Ventures Model, '93 Mexi Strat loaded with Lace Sensors, '03 Tele Custom FMT with custom wound humbuckers. Oh yeah, a Kustom Quad 85 amp, all pretty much collecting dust LOL.

Heck , so far we have the makings for quite a talented group..maybe make a Challengertalk CD...perhaps the Soundtrack for the new Vanishing Point ! I used to play coronet in junior hi as well as played guitar with a tightly strung tennis racket...wondered if I could have "electricized" it !!!

Just really getting into Pink Floyd latey thank god for Dad's influence as a kid.He played the stuff all the time.

30 vintage fender strats to choose from at any time to play plus 20 signed not played displays as well.I think I have a problem like some folks have a drinking problem but mine is collecting and playing,in a bad way.

Just picked up a beautiful SRV 2000 strat mint on ebay for a song literally.
Im infatuated with Fender Strats.

LOL I played trumpet as well all thru Highschool 2nd chair,all forced by my mother !!!!
I showed her! I about drove her crazy practicing the theme to Rocky for like 6 months straight every day.LOL
Then came the back breaker as I put it.The theme to The Love Boat my god I can still hear that crap.LOL
Chuck Mangione was big back then as well I remember blowing a lung out or two ....

I should have know there would be players on the forum. Something about Music and cars go hand in hand. I guess our tastes in music is as varied as our passion for gear. Right now my main amp is a Komet 60, and a 2001 Historic reissue Les Paul, I also have a Les Paul Classic, a Hot Rod Tele a couple of strats, and it never stops.
