Anybody Privvy To Dealer Tech/Repair Info? Need Help!

I bought a 2004 Chrysler Concorde for my eldest and it only had one working remote. I grabbed two more remotes and need to add them. When I went to look up the procedure I found that it was not in the owners manual, and instructions were not included with the new remotes.

Can anyone help?

I was given a link to Chrysler.Com where you can download 2004> Owners Manuals and my model car was not even listed with all the others. I checked the sister car Chrysler Sebring manual and it was not listed in there either.

I did several web searches and the closest I can find is older generation model years.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!

Re: Anybody Privvy To Dealer Tech/Repair Info? Need Help!

Ok - I got it (I think/hope!). Here it is (if anyone really gives a ratz azz):
  1. Slam a beer or two (my contribution)
  2. Press (LOCK) button 5 times at 2 second intervals to resynchronize transmitter. Attempt to function transmitter, if working as designed discontinue programming.
  3. Turn ignition to run position. (Allow ignition chimes[UNLOCK] to stop).
  4. Using any original (working) transmitter, press the [UNLOCK] button for 4 to 10 seconds.
  5. Within the specified 4 to 10 seconds, continue pressing the [UNLOCK] button and press the [PANIC] button for 1 second and release both buttons. A chime will sound to indicate that the transmitter programming mode has been entered (allow 3 seconds for chime to sound).
  6. Press [LOCK] and [UNLOCK] buttons simultaneously for 1 second and release.
  7. Press and release any button on the same transmitter and a chime will sound after successfully programming the transmitter.
  8. Repeat steps 5 through 6 to program additional transmitters.
  9. Turn ignition to OFF position. Transmitter programming mode will discontinue after 60 seconds. (All transmitter programming must be completed within time specified).

Depends on how many beers you slam first.
(I suspect not, does anyone have a test car?)
