Bank of America has a problem!!

I noticed that the online payment I made to my credit card on 12-5-12 didn't deduct from my bank account. I did get the 8 digit code indicating that the transaction worked at the end of the transaction, so I went back online last night to see what was going on. I found that the account was behind and had accrued a late fee of $25.00 and I now owed 2 payments plus the late fee. I called them and when I told them I had the code for proof of the transaction they said they would take care of it. I chatted with the gal about the situation and asked if she wanted the code I had gotten and she said because it was done online that she had no way to verify any of it, but she did cheerfully remove the late fee and brought the account back to current. She said they have been having website problems and that's all she knew about it. Heads up to everyone!!

I've got an Amazon card and usually pay early and pay the full balance which is never over
a hundred bucks. It's due on the 15th and in November it slipped up on me and they got me
for 25 dollars for being late. I can understand a nominal late fee, but I'll be damned if I can
understand it to the tune of 25 bucks.

This was in the news today. Everyone check your online visa balance if paid recently.

Bank of America *is* a problem. I have no idea why people still bank with them after all of their shady business practices.

Bank of America is famous for their rip off fees and tactics. I'll never have an account with them. I don't know why anyone does!
