Post Cerebus Sells Portion of Chrysler

Cerebus has sold a portion of its Chrysler holdings.

One of the investors is the Aozora Bank of Japan. I am having terrible visions of the Mitsubishi Challenger of the late 1970s!!

Re: Cerebus Sells Portion of Chrysler

I never was too hopped up when it was announced Cerberus was buying DCX ! I, at times , think the FTC should /should have investigated. What brand of vehicle does Feinberg drive :??? This whole worldwide financial "Pac-Man" mentality is ruining America [if not already;besides other factors] ! Aozora Bank is buying, yet Cerberus owns that !! Something very, very could be coming our way ,and hopefully we will not be !!! Just found a song Feinberg just made to help Consewmate the deal :

Re: Cerebus Sells Portion of Chrysler

I thought I saw a post a while back about Dodge and Nissan building a vehicle jointly, I think it was a small pick-up but I'm not sure.

Re: Cerebus Sells Portion of Chrysler

I wouldn't read anything into this.

Chrysler was going nowhere with DCX as the owner. I give Cerberus some slack. Their fingerprints are all over the Challenger, and after all look what we got? Something really nice.

And yes, I know the Challenger was designed when DCX owned them.

You're correct, thought it was here: just cannot find it yet ! It's Nissan's Titan. Hopefully, Chrysler &/or Cerberus won't allow the Hemi in a Nissan, but I wonder if Feinberg/Cerberus is a 'leech'. I know this may sound weird and ridiculous but is it possible that Feinberg has been "brainwashed" /coerced : !!!Ohhh,my, I think I could ....

Re: Cerebus Sells Portion of Chrysler

They did NOT sell controlling interest in Chrysler or GMAC... Cerb. is just getting MORE investors in the "fund"...

Too much Chicken little nowadays. Jump to the worst conclusion possible, regardless of actual facts!

come on, be cool about it. I think it was more of a misinterpretation than jumping to conclusions. Good news regardless

Re: Cerebus Sells Portion of Chrysler

Ok, I/we need more facts;who can provide these ? Well, possibly no one except Mister Cerberus himself. That is the tricky part of business deals involving Private Equity firms. Nothing has to be disclosed , which can or cannot be a good thing. No one knows if all the investment money coming from within America or abroad was legit or from honest grains ! If abroad ,who checks to determine if funds were obtained legally or not ? As one article stated ,' the identity of the 80.1 stake of DCX/Chrysler was not and still has not be disclosed : or has it ? I/we just have to wait and see.Heck, until recently, I did not know a Japan could buy / has the Charger SRT to drive around and that the Middle East has their own version of the Dodge Charger called TVC ;as well as other Chrysler vehicles ! Chrysler and other seems to be jumping on this New World Order [of economy]Bandwagon [which includes the spreading of "Democracy"] !
