CHRYSLER & NISSAN COZY UP : HOW N-ice !!!

Oh great ! Now look what the New Chrysler and Nissan have colluded to do.I'm just not sure if this is good and/or the right thing to do. I may be too quick to prejudge, but there's just something that feels irking !! Well, read on and you decide !!! BREAKING: Chrysler and Nissan announce major supply agreements, shared products ...Following the announcement this past January that Nissan would be supplying Chrysler with a new car based of the Versa's platform, the two automakers announced today that more exchange is on the horizon, including a new small car for Chrysler and a Dodge-based pickup for Nissan.

The unnamed small car [[[ Could this be for the DODGE HORNET ? .What the]]] will be built by Nissan in Japan utilizing a Chrysler design and will be sold in North America, Europe and other markets in 2010. On the other side of the spectrum, Chrysler will build a full-size pick-up for Nissan that will share design cues with the rest of the Nissan line and be built at Chrysler's Saltillo Assembly Plant in Mexico. Sales of the pick-up will begin in North America in 2011. Re: CHRYSLER & NISSAN COZY UP : HOW N-ice !!!

This is fine. They are looking for other alternatives I think as Chrysler was going to use Chery to market tiny little cars but Chery isn't coming through fast enough. Nissan is better. Remember, we need Chrysler to sell a ton of small economical cars that will have a mass appeal in order to sell V8 Challengers on the other end of the scale. Otherwise, the EPA's CAFE average will be higher and Challengers and Chargers won't be a reality.
