Re: Didnt Chrysler say the same thing about the Charger?

Not being a super car freak, and to lazy to look it up. But what does the Dodge Charger Daytona have in it? I had the Charger R/T and the Daytona to right around $31k.

Don't forget the
Sport-Tuned Steering & Sport Tuned Exhaust

That adds up to what? zero hp. Why would somebody pay one dime for that crap ? You could probly buy the Charger R/T and take it to any custom exhaust place in your 'hood and have a real race exhaust built from scratch for $1K that gets you 25 hp.

Power: 350 horsepower at 5,000 rpm (340 on R/T)
Actually that's 10hp and a lot more cool factor.

for what it's worth, I absolutely Destroyed a "Charger Daytona" (like 3 or 4 car lenths through 3rd gear) and They'd look a LOT better as a 2 dr.

exactly. As long as the motor/tranny comes correct from the factory, you can do whatever you want.

No, they didn't. The Charger was always supposed to replace the Intrepid as the big Dodge.

I know they ain't incredibly fast but just remember, it was probably stock and your not. I know they'd look better as a 2-door.

Damn straight, there is something nostalgic and cool about sitting behind the wheel of that beast.
As for phantom RT I don't see him being anywhere close to stock if he can get all over a Daytona like he says he can.
Have a friend who has an R/T Dakota and a friend with an 02 Saleen, he can't get the Saleen... But I can and have.
