Dodge Caliber SRT4: OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Here it comes, the 2007 Dodge Caliber SRT4: 2.4L i4 with 300 hp and 260 lbft of torque...
Now, the styling doesn't completely catch me, but the specs do...Really good bang for the bucks...

Here's the article:

Same here. I'm thinkin' a car bra would help cover up that front end a bit.

Re: Dodge Caliber SRT4: OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

oh, I will be buying one of those badges.. I have one that looks like it, but it's not a real badge, it's a piece of plastic with VERY well done Vinyl on it.

Re: Dodge Caliber SRT4: OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Ugh, why would they make that fwd. They should have used the awd system so people could get an awesome launch with it instead of burning out and being a victim of wheel hop. Those are some pretty stout numbers, though. I still think its pretty damn ugly unfortunately. I wonder if that world engine would mate up to the awd powertrain? I smell a great idea for a weekend project if its possible.. I don't know much about the world engine and the awd powertrain, so if someone could fillme in about that, I'd be grateful.

Re: Dodge Caliber SRT4: OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Why did they do an AWD R/T but not a AWD SRT?

I guess that Dodge figures if it's that ugly then it has to be fast.
