Hemeee, or anyone else for that matter...
I also hear everyone saying that it is lighter as well, why is that? Different materials, inherent do to design changes, or just because it is shorter? Does anyone have any sketches of the 2 platforms so we can see the diffs? Also, I agree, not a dumb qustion, am curious myself... Smokn~ ![]() |

The concept weighs in in at 4,160 lbs. vs. the 300C at 4,251 lbs... less than 100 lbs. difference. But the concept has a custom carbon-fiber body, which would contribute to some weight reduction.
Of course all of this is only be supposition since there is no hard data available yet, or sketches that I know of, but it just seems logical that a shorter chassis and a 2-door would be lighter. Less framing and bracing = less mass. Sound good??? It would be nice if there were sketches available of the LY to compare to the LX, but if there are, good luck finding them... they're probably in a vault with armed guards We need an insider... ![]()
