End of the MuscleCar as we Know it?

Check this one out!

Californians live with thier heads in the clouds. I swear, they will sue for anything, and are always Anti-horsepower, Pro-Mr.Bean-mobile!

I wonder how this will affect our hopes for Large displacement options!

Re: The Nuts are at it again!

Although I can agree that lawsuits are out of control in the US and it's just plain wrong, your generalization of Californians is just as wrong...

Re: The Nuts are at it again!

My Absolute Apologies! I promise you, I mean to offend no one! However, if this lawsuit holds, and the arguments presented by your State resonate throughout the country, the "Musclecar Wars" we are all hoping for may be dead before the even begin. (1970's repeat?)

Again, Let me be clear, I apologize to you directly, and any other Californians who may read this and be offended by my unfair grouping. I was simply venting my frustrations over the implications and possible aftermath of the subject matter of the link.

I hope this thread will not become a "Bash California / Bash Smokn" thread and will stick to the topic at hand.

Smokn~

Re: The Nuts are at it again!

polution like that is always a problem when you have to many people in a small space, and being blocked on the east siede by mountains doesn't help to disperce the polution... not seeing how the car companies can be held responcible for where a population decides to congregate and/or the natural geography of an area where they are...

Re: The Nuts are at it again!

Yes, I agree and also wonder if Mr.California Attorney General might be doing this not on behalf of Californians but to pump up his own ego and/or his prospective election or his next job/resume ! Obviously, it was the state, California who allowed all those / the cars be sold there and knew or should have known of [ P ] eaches pollution output ! P.S. I wonder if he plans on buying one of those Zero Pollution cars..Tesla I think

Exclamation Re: The Nuts are at it again!

I say let the damn state fall into the ocean when the big one hits. Active and non-active volcanos, springs and earth exhaust pockets spew more emssions in one 24 hour period than all vehicles put together in a year. The gases that emit from these volcanos and such are far more poisonous and toxic than any vehicle can put out. So before people start bitch'n they should really know their facts or at least get an education before they stick there foot in there mouth. Yes cars and factories do contribute but on a grand scale of things...the earth produces far more poisonous toxic gas.

I wonder how long before the Peoples Republic of California will force sign language on all residents to prevent the accumilation of hot air and CO2 expelled while talking..........................should force all polititions (sp?), activists, and lawyers to stop breathing while they're at it.

All their hot air is likely the source of global warming too!

Somebody on another forum I frequent suggested a 2 in 1 solution, use a bunch of extra nukes planted along the San Andreas Fault and blow them, sen Cali off into the Pacific, and if it sinks, eh, no major loss.
