fired UAW pot smoking drunks re-instated

hope you're not driving a Durango or Grand Cherokee.
AND I'll just bet they get back-pay from the date they got fired.
Foil a robbery at Autozone and you get fired...Drink and smoke pot on the job and you get re-instated...the times they are interesting

I can understand the "not enough evidence" claim simply because from the video you cannot tell that they are on break or done with work for the day. I mean it's obvious but you could argue that. It sucks that these scum bags can keep their good paying job but I get told I'm probably going to get fired from a Target store because I called in sick 3 days in a row with strep

It's not like any new employee would NOT join the UAW now after this. They can do almost anything and still keep their job

Unions are why we can't keep companies in this country.

Union workers should get their heads out of the sand and realize where their dues are going. The good news is their membership is gone down about 3.5%
Fact, top 10 states w lowest unemployment rates are right to work states. And Michigan just went that way. Good for them. But Detroit is another story. They're broke and have a $46 mil debt and the mayor and city counsel play politics. Soon the state will cut their grants. But the state is on the right track. As far those idiot workers that got their jobs back, it's a matter if time. Trust me. People wake up.

I've been in the union for the past 15 years.I can say that I disagree with about 80% of the crap that the union files grievances over. But I dont think I would have as much pay and benifits were I working a non-union job of the same type. It burns my ass reading about folks getting high on the job and being represented by the union and probably getting admin pay while out. I work hard and so do most of my co-workers,it makes us all look bad in peoples eyes when this is the only impression of a union worker they have. Guys, not all union workers are like that and I for one am ashamed for them. Please dont think that all union workers agree with everything the union does.
