Garage Ideas

Just wondering how do you guys have your garage set up? I am thinking of having a underground pit built for oil chages when the separate 3 car garage is being built. I also want the full hydrolic jack built in the floor, but I dont know any one in the dallas area that has this set up.

My original plan was to restore a Super Bee for me and a 71 Cuda for my wife, but since the introduction of the new Challenger those plans have changed alot. I was going to buy and install a paint booth..........I may do that afterall.

Tools...a man can never have too many tools, Right! I have a Campbell Hausfeld 8 gallon air tank with all the air tools they make. Im not as seasoned as some of you so what else do I need to add to the collection?

Re: Garage Ideas

If your garage ceiling is high enough, then I'd go for an above-ground hoist system instead...easier install and more insurance friendly. It also allows for the parking of an additional vehicle when the need arises...one raised (with hoist rack locked) and one parked beneath it between the posts.

Re: Garage Ideas

Thanks for the heads up in the insurance, however if it meets the certain standards I was told it will be cheaper than the above ground hoist system. The pit has to pass engineering specs as well...........my area of expertise! Im not worried about it passing.
