Got a go from the wife!!!!!

Just not this year. We are currently building a new house and the project will not be finished for two years. I had planned on actually buying a 5.7 version w/o all the bells and whistles. After a little discussion with wifey I have decided to wait two years for the house to get done (with the two car attatched garage) and get the top of the line Challenger, hopefully with the crate engine that may be available and every bell and whistle available. Since I have to wait until the house is finished I am even going to get the GPS navigation system installed. I think it will be worth the wait especially since it looks like Challenger has got the green light.

That is spookly like my story. My Wife and I are also building our house and she also said I could get one when we are done. I'm still sticking with the 5.7 myself.

Actually, my wife is rooting for me to get the 'Challenger', so she can inherit my '05 '300 Touring SRT'...she just loves that car.

Re: Got a go from the wife!!!!!

My wife was a tough sell at first. Then she saw how damn obsessed I was getting over it and decided it would be more fun to actually ride around in one with me than to see me reading about it on the internet every night and on the weekends. Sublime, 425 HP, man, I can't wait!

Re: Got a go from the wife!!!!!

Don't have a wife to ask, but I do have a bank account watch...

I will wait for the '09 version for the following reasons:

Replenish the bank account after the house renovations are done.

Build a garage, for the winter storage. Actually, this can store the other toys too...

Let them work out some of the bugs they will first have... I doubt there will be a lot of them but...

I want a special version. I will know which one when I see it, but like the Charger I am sure there will be a special color, mod or something... Dodge is pretty good at that.

Will

I hear you. I really want a convert, but don't know if they will come out with that. I'd hate to have a 1st year model and then they come out with a convert 2nd year. Also, it will be much easier to justify a "family fun" car as a convert.

Re: Got a go from the wife!!!!!

Just debuted the Challenger to my wife, who's very practical and quite a penny pincher. (which I love). Clearly nobody really needs a sports car, but the Challenger is definitely now on the top of the list.

Her response after my discovery that the Challenger is 'ON' was, "Well see..."

I'm all about 50/50 in my marriage and with our first child due in 8 weeks it's good to be practical.

Still I've already begun saving!

Re: Got a go from the wife!!!!!

By the title of the thread, it could mean your wife told you to "go". As in away.

You sure you got the message from her interpretted correctly? ;-)
