Welcome to the forum. You are most definitely fortunate...in more ways than one. Can't wait to see a photo of all three 'muscle cars' parked next to one another.

Re: Got a go from the wife!!!!!

I have an 04 SRT-4, bought new, and the wife has a 98 Mercury Villager that was her older sister's. So, I'm pretty sure that I'm NOT the next person in line for a new vehicle. Even though the SRT will be paid off in 08. So will the van, actually (we are paying her sister).

I would love to have a new Challenger in my driveway in 09, but I suspect there would have to be a new Dodge Ram for the wife before that.

Luckily, I have an uncle who used to work for Chrysler and can usually find a way to get me the employee discount (whether it's offered to the rest of the world or not).

Of course, they were losing so much money on warranty work with the SRT-4 when I bought it, it was the ONLY vehicle not available on the employee discount program at that time (they had even moved the Viper onto the program... sheesh).

I'm sure the Challenger won't be available, but it may lower the cost of a new truck. *fingers crossed*

That's what they're there for my friend...please enjoy them all. BTW, this particular image was created by our forum member burningman (Doug Schramm) who has created several of these 'cuda concept and 'Challenger' concept digital drawings for various magazines and other well-known publications.

Re: Got a go from the wife!!!!!

well... I'm working on my house currently, and I just got married 4 months ago... before we got married I told her that they would be 2 things that won't be negotiable 1st- My season ticket for my local team and 2nd- a brand new car of my choice... a type of car that would be one of a kind, worth keeping for a lifetime and worth spending some good savings.....

And thanks God it happened with the Challenger........when it receives the green ligth It was just a matter of sending some sort of confirmation "this is it"

But don't get me wrong.... she's happy about (not enthusiatic) but happy.....
Already made an excel spreadsheet of how am I going to save money every year and I think I can pay it in cash in 2010.... hopefully special models will be available then!!!!!!!......
