Greetings all, stopping by to say hello

Hello all, proud and honored to be a part of your forum for the new Challenger. I've owned mostly GMs for the last 20 or so years but I've always been a Mopar guy at heart, and am SO glad to see Chrysler FINALLY getting back into the muscle car game with both feet. I'm thrilled about the new Challenger - SO hope DCX builds it and doesn't deviate from the concept at all. The only Mopar I have now is my Ram truck (see my signature for my other rides), but I hope to change that in the very near future. I'll post pics of my ride later. Anyway, glad to be on board with you guys, and here's hoping to a VERY good year of 2009!

Re: Greetings all, stopping by to say hello

Thanks for the great welcome, everybody. The more I look at this car I swear the more I know it's gonna be a loooonnnnngggg wait!

A couple of questions, if anyone here is truly "in the know"...

I take it there will be a base V6 model, correct? (Not that I'd be interested in one, but I truly think it'd be beneficial to the car's success - the best selling Mustang is the base V6 model, after all)

Will there be a convertible model? Again I think it'd be very beneficial to the car's success if there was one.

Re: Greetings all, stopping by to say hello

Hoping for a hatchback version myself. Sort of like the old Omni.

They probably would do a V6 version similar to the 300 series.
