it's simple. If i park far away DON'T PARK BESIDE ME!

Never fails, I park "5 miles" away from the store and hike, boat, swim, and skip to the door thinking that no one will ever park beside me. 10 mins later im out and staring my journey back to the Challenger, and guess what.. Someone just HAD to park beside me. Now if they had a nice car or even looked like they respected theirs then I would not care. It's always a big SUV or Van that has super long doors. If not that then it's a car that looks like they made "improvements" on themselves.


And no matter how close to the edge I park, they always park just a little closer to offset it... Never fails...

I had one dip**** do the same to me. Went to see an early movie so the parking lot was empty. Still, I parked away from whoever might come. Sure as ****, an idiot is next to me. The dumba$$ happened to come to his car when I was still there. So I asked him, " Not for nothing because this is a free country , but why the hell did you have to park right next to me when there's a whole friggin empty parking lot" His intelligent reply? "I don't know"

I'm telling ya. Some people are just freakn dumb and brain dead.

I've come to the conclusion that people dont know how to park and need a car next to them as a guide line for where the spaces are.

Its the only reason I can guess as to why people "have" to park next to another car.

I did this and parked far over in the spot. I should have just taken two spots. Anyway, a crappy rice burner parked right next to me so close I could barely get into my car. I found two TINY door dings on my car the next day when the lighting was better. I have his plate number, but it won't go anywhere. Much of the general population can be so stupid at times. I see this at work all the time!

When I park at work, there's an oversized parking spot at the furthest corner you can park. I take this and I park all the way over to the curb so you could probably fit a motorcycle in and be comfortable. USUALLY, I have a co-worker (who loves my girl) park in the space next to her (he drives a big Toyota Tundra) to make sure she's protected (really nice fella!). Some days I get a hummer who CAN park properly, some days I get .... exactly as you all describe -- they are over that white line and offset EVERY OTHER CAR in the row.

Now, tell me, how can the two LARGEST vehicles on the lot know how to park (forward and backwards alike), yet all these small cars can't? Me think some people need more drivers ed!

That doesn't bother me; what bothers me is the median intelligence level has got to be dropping like a rock.

Back to the OP; you're right. Sometimes I think I could park my car on the moon only to come back and see a moon rover right next to it.
