IMO, although the movie didn't live-up to its generated expectations, these two certainly weren't bad on the eyes.

The movie didn't live up to its generated expectations because it just plain flat-out SUCKED. I'm a huge Dukes fan, grew up with them as a kid - this movie was one serious freakin disgrace to the show's heritage, and seemed like nothing more than an excuse to wreck some more Dodge Chargers (as if we needed that!)

And I'm sorry, Jessica Simpson does absolutely nothing for me - she's one huge tease, she can't act, she's nothing more than a bleach-blonde talentless bimbo - her and her equally talentless sister "Ashlee" are both like turds that won't flush.

There were some cool driving stunts in the movie, I'll give it that - but overall I thought it was a huge insult to Dukes fans - and just a plain stupid, ****ty movie.

I'll give you this, it was nothing like the original. I would have preferred for them to use the new Charger for the new movie to distance it from the classic series. Jessica Simpson may not be the most talented but she definitely is easy on the eyes.

I took the advice of Cooter and didn't see it. Just the movie trailers were a complete turn off for me. The original Duke boys did a much better job and although Daisy was a cutie in her day, she hasn't held up well enough to run competition with Jessica. But then Daisy was smart, funny and pretty in her time where Jessica is pretty, pretty and pretty (better used for peanut butter legs - you know, creamy smooth and easy to spread?).

I liked the movie overall. It was definitely much different than the original series, but it was better than the Starsky & Hutch remake. I went into the theater with low expectations, so it wasn't a bummer.


As it should be, the car was the star & it was fan-friggin'-tastic seeing a 69 Charger on the big screen!
