Re: newest 2009 Camaro spyshots photo set from Sweden

Well, it really doesn't; but if it does, it means that the GM boys/girls like to copy a good thing when they seize it : just like they've done before and most likely will again !!! P.S. Besides most on Challengertalk.com don't care about the Camaro !!

Re: newest 2009 Camaro spyshots photo set from Sweden

Either you lead , follow , or get out of the way ..... wasn't Lee Iacoca that had this saying in Chrysler commercials .....

it's always been like so inthe car industry from the beginning ..... but this time they are copying the past - retro style - which is all right with me - we live in a time where we can have the past esthetics improved and the present technology - the best of both worlds - we are truly living in great times for cars (this coming from one who'd dreamed to live in Muscle Car era but was only born in 1970 - btw the best Muscle Car Year hahahaha)

No .... Camaro has its own entire theme going on and it's ok by me the way it looks - I can appreciate any car and I'm not brand biased - if it's nice ; it's nice period

I like the Camaro. If the financial Gods are willing, I'll be adding it to the stable sometime in 2010 or 2011.

I don't really remember way back to the history of both cars -- was it Dodge who announced the Challenger would be retro inspired or Did GM first announce that the Camaro would be retro?

I like the looks of the new Camaro, but who ever thinks the front ends look similar, not quite sure what they mean. Pretty different to me...

Re: newest 2009 Camaro spyshots photo set from Sweden

look at the '69 pointy grill with sealed beams .... then imagine a futuristic version of it and voila ! Tail lights from a '67-'68 , quarter fins from '69 , wheel wells from '67-'68

Re: newest 2009 Camaro spyshots photo set from Sweden

All this CamaroTalk is getting somewhat boring and repetitive. There are at least 6 Camaro threads here @Challengertalk.com .We've been through this before, but a lot of new members don't apparently know of all this !! Here ,refer to this and perhaps my post #5 : GM revives Camaro muscle car (add all Camaro related posts here)
