I've not met many people who can honestly debate politics or religion who can :
A. keep their cool, and not talk things personally
B. respect the opinions of others, even if the disagree with them
C. not try to change others, rather than show by example
With all the in-fighting that goes on between trim levels of our car (SRT vs R/T vs SE vs SXT), talking about politics would be utter mayhem.
People just can't keep their cool around here. Always there are those internet tough guys, who use keyboards to right rather than face to face confrontation.
I wish we could talk about anything, unless it is very inappropriate. But, I doubt the Admins will ever allow politics and religion to be discussed.

I suspect we can all find some common ground here on political topics, just those don't align well with the big party issues, how about .... sane CAFE requirements, and lower gas prices?

I no longer frequent 2 Ford truck forums because of all the political talk. It got to where
something about politics could be found in every thread. If I want politics I'll join a political
forum. I'm here to learn about the Dodge Challenger and have fellowship with like mind individuals. Politics and religion are a persons own business. I mean no offense, just my
opinion.

The only Political discussion we need is this.. No matter who wins.. WE lose..
As for Political Ads, I'm pretty sure that who ever the ad host is, rolls them through and AutoGuide has no control over the content. But a better question is... What Ads?? Run Firefox and Ad Block Plus. Problem solved!

A typical, even-handed, logical and timely posting by Mister Sensibility, my friend, OmahaRumble. Yep, this is exactly what I voiced during a good discussion with Rambit yesterday. It is what it is.
