Real or Fake Christmas tree?

Just curious out of those of you who put up a Christmas tree, how many buy a real one every year?
IMO you just can't beat a fresh live Christmas Tree.

I usually get a 10-12' tree, I've got some high ceilings.

We have a fake one, wife's allergies keep us from ever getting a real one.

Real here. My girlfriend insists on it even though we end up finding pine needles in the carpet for months (Maybe years) after - no matter how much we vacuum.

I could see carpet being a PITA with a real one, I'm glad we have hardwood floors in the living room, lol.

Fake, have had one for the past 4 years and still looks new. With the pine sticks you can't beat it. I'm more concerned with the fire hazard of a real one than anything else.
