Saleen teams up with GM, and the 'maro will have 450hp
According to this, Saleen wants to make a version of the camaro, and the camaro will have 450 hp. So is the 6.1 really gonna be able to compete??

Well, this is just "shop talk " : nothing Official .is this an official /possible GM/Ford production plan or aftermarket ??? Also it depends on each person..whether they are after pure horsepower and not care what outer skin it's over ! Some people want to stay ' loyal ' to a certain brand and wouldn't buy another ..ok big deal if the other car gets ahead .... I'm more concerned with what I see already on the highways/streets >> a lot of quick in and outs racing up to the next red light or cutting in front and being quite reckless....couple this with the ever increasing congestion !! I'm also wondering if the major insurance companies are going to influence the politicians just like in the 70's ; beside jacking up rates on these supercars !! o'course it seems lots of young people have money to burn !
 Next is , with all this jockeying for more and more HP ..I'm starting to think that an age limit of say 23 yrs old , be instituted to purchase and /or drive vehicles with say more than 250 hp ??? Rental car companies have a 25 yrs of age to rent a vehicle for the similar line of reasoning !! Ok, now I know there are quite a few Challengertalkers doing this  !

WTF.. okay dats it!!! i think chevy just went too far... Da camaro is more powerful than a corvette?!?!? where will they go with the corvette now?? dats just crazy!!!

Now I've got even more reason to believe the Challenger will get left in the dust.
 Dodge needs to team up with an aftermarket outfit like Saleen.
