Not that crazy, since 2000 Patriots have made it to the SuperBowl 5 times, last time Denver made it was 98 & 99. Exciting being a Patriots football fan in this part of the country.

Niner's have not been to the Big Game since 1995 even longer than Denver. Granted they are both good teams this year and both have a legit chance. That's what makes playoff season so enjoyable to watch. Being a member of Patriot's Nation trust me when I say there has not been a shortage of football parties to watch an exciting playoff, division and SuperBowl games that the Patriots have been in since 2K. You to do something when the Challenger in hibernating for the winter.

BUT, they went into the playoffs after crushing the Jets once and the Cowboys TWICE.

they finished out the seaon going 3-1 with the playoffs on the line - that's when they got hot.

they made the playoffs and ran through every single playoff team on the road to winning the Superbowl that year....

...and that's how the G-Men peaked at the right time in 2011....

I remember that story of Giants playoff season, and the game where they beat the Patriots for the 2nd time 4 years, that one stung for a bit around here.

yeah, they got hot at the right time.

a 9-7 team isn't supposed to go crushing every playoff team on their way to a Superbowl win....

There's been a slew of those kind of Cinderella team stories for years. I don't consider 2011 HISTORY. Maybe look at the 68 Jets and get back to us.
