Tempting Bullit

A local dealer has a bullit mustang just sitting there as it has been for months now and its at 32K I stopped in for fun and they told me thay would let me have the car for 30K out the door thats with all fees and tax.
I passed of coarse but what a deal that is huh.
I personally dont like the small car feel I get from the mustang as well the interior looked so cheap. Now dont all get upset if you own a mustang its just not my bag baby!! Great deal though..

Im sticking with mopar many cars have caught my eye none have pulled my eyes out of their sockets like this Challenger does.

Re: Tempting Bullit

The main deterrent for me about mustangs is on my 45 minute drive to work it's a challenge to count to 30 and not see a mustang of some type on the road. I sometimes make a game out of it. It's really hard

I know that Shelby editions and all that are much more rare -- but it's still the same core visual lines and appearance, it's still a mustang. I'm excited for the Challenger to get popular, but I hope it doesn't become TOO popular that it's as boring and common to see as the Mustang has become.

Sad to say that in my area at least , it seems like almost as many Chargers , as Mustangs. We all know it's a different story with the Charger (Great car) , but there are so many.I like the Challenger for it's own merits, and would prefer it regardless, but the uniqueness of this car is certainly a major draw !!

They will never be as common as a stang and I fear they wont be made long..

Re: Tempting Bullit

I have driven a Saleen Parnelli Jones edition mustang (the "new Boss 302") and I have to say it is a nice car. The thing looks cool - and is unique (although not too cheap). It is also quite fast (I clocked a 13.8 on the street with G-force meter) and sounds great. The seats however stab you in the middle of the back and the rear seat is nearly useless. The Challenger is much roomier inside, has a huge trunk, and a functional rear seat - and I my opionion looks cooler. Still,if you get a great deal on a mustang it might be worth it if it is not the run of the mill GT.

There has to be at least 5,000 Mustangs in the twin city area I live in. Probably about half as many Chargers as Mustangs. Although both are fine cars, I like being different.
This year, 3 Challengers came here, with around the same amount expected next year. I can't see those numbers catching up in a big hurry. Also, as NOTSURE says, I don't picture the Challenger build to go on forever; at least not the SRT version. I think my car will have a uniqueness for a long time around here.
Especially my black one !! I think it's the only one in this area .
