Re: Time for Dodge to put up or shut up

Sniper226 is right, the excitement over a new concept car only lasts so long, then fades. At the time that the '99 Charger concept was being shown, there was a lot of intrest in it. I worked in a large ChryslerPlymouth Dodge dealership at the time, and asked the general manager about the Charger. He knew that the Charger was going to go into production, and he speculated that it would be an '04 model year release. I waited patiently until May of '04, then, with no Charger on the lot, I bought an off brand (Mustang Mach1). It felt strange to buy a Ford, but Dodge had exhausted my patience with waiting for the Charger. Earlier this month, I finally bought a Charger, but it is a V6 SE for my wife to drive. In '08, I expect to buy my next car, and if I knew that this Challenger was coming, and dealers would not go crazy with markups, I would be a buyer. I want to get back into a Dodge for my daily driver, but Dodge has to build something I want to drive.

Re: Time for Dodge to put up or shut up

Hell even GM is close to announcing building the Camaro. And there release date is at least 3 years off still! (Note this is still rumor and not official)
