Re: Toyota in Nascar

Nascar was well on it's way to destroying itself long before the government forced Winston out. The "supercar" or "car of tomorrow" or what the hell ever they're calling the new chassis could very well kill any real competition or chase off long time fans.

Re: Toyota in Nascar

I work for the company that puts the cameras in the cars for NASCAR. I'm not really a fan. I do watch a race from time to time to see how Dodge is doing. I work at about 10 races a year. It seems that most NASCAR fans are more concerned about the drivers than the cars. I'm amazed at the lack of hot rods in the parking lot at one of these races. Wasn't nascar more of a gear-head sport in the 70's? If they go to this supercar they will push the series away from the gear heads even more. The last time I was in one of these cars the trunk lid was one of the few pieces that was from a factory car.

Re: Toyota in Nascar

I hate TOYOTA. I won't watch racing anymore when they go FOREIGN. If they can't keep it American, then forget it. Here in the south it is all about sweet tea, apple pie and racing. Keep your baseball AND your Toyotas!!
Isn't Kasey Khane a hottie?
