Re: Us Auto Sales - January 2006

Interesting... but some of those figures can't be right, unless I'm missing something here... For example, according to that chart it says that Ford only sold 49,319 F-series trucks last year - they sell about 800,000 or so of those things every year...

And what year are those annual sales of? Next to the figures it has 2005 figures I assume for comparison purposes... so what are the figures it's quoting next to those? They can't be 2006 figures - we're barely into February, kinda hard to have sales 2006 figures already...

Again, I could be missing something here but I'm thoroughly confused...

I believe that was for the month of January only.

Re: Us Auto Sales - January 2006

As am I. I am also confused on those figures. Unless that's January 1's - Present of 2006, but like Yankee said Ford sells about 800,000 pickups every year, or at least that's what I had read last nite. Those figures just dont seem right...

Re: Us Auto Sales - January 2006

Those figures are true for the month of January, 2006.
Sales for DCX rose 4.8%, Ford rose 2%. The announcement has countered the forecasts of anylysts.

Ah, so those are monthly sales figures? That makes a little more sense now [smacks self on head].
