V8 Barbeque

Now I seen it all!

Someone made a 60,000 BTU barbeque grill out of a V-8 Chevy engine!!

I wonder how many BTUs a Hemi would put out?

Re: V8 Barbeque

You can buy one.

Here are three links to information about Steve Barker, the builder of muscle car grills and a photo of his Hemi creation. He makes custom-made grills, shaped like a muscle car engine block complete with exhaust ports that let smoke comes out, powder coated grill box that can withstand 900 degree of heat, pistons instead of knobs, and diamond plates for side tables.

He uses real car parts where he can, and can install optional nitrous purge system with remote control, a 671 Blower on top with a power lid, LED lights and switches for night BBQ-ing, as well as CD and MP3 player with indoor/outdoor speakers and remote control. The grills comes in either charcoal or propane.

THE HEMI VERSION HAS: NOS PUSH BUTTON ELECTRIC IGNITER HEMI PISTONS - FOR HIGH / LOW BURNER CONTROLS; HEADERS ARE BOURED OUT IN ORDER TO RELEASE THE SMOKE OFF THE GRILL; VALVE COVERS ARE REAL HEMI COVERS; OIL PAN UNDERNEATH TO CATCH EXCESS GREASE; MOUNTED ON A SUMMIT ENGINE STAND; AND THE GRILL CAN BE ROTATED AROUND TO SERVICE; PAINT IS POWDER COAT AND TESTED TO 900 DEGREES; AND
4 x HEMI LOGOS THAT BURN INTO YOUR STEAK WHEN YOU GRILL IT.

Re: V8 Barbeque

That is awesome!!! That may go on the Christmas list for next year. It won't be this year at $1300. I mean it seems worth it, but that would blow the whole budget for Christmas...

Re: V8 Barbeque

MMmmmm Nothing like the flavor of motor oil to really bring out the flavor of your barbeque!
