Went out to lunch today with my friend!

Hello Gang,

I had a great day today! I had the chance to have lunch with my long time close friend. (The friend that I had mentioned about in the forums a few months ago!) I had mentioned to my boss that my friend had wanted to come in to see me and to join me for lunch, and he said..."Have a great time, and take the afternoon off!" My supervisors and boss where I work are very helpful in this kind of situation. As most of the forum members here know, I have known my friend going on 14 years. She and I both started working together the first year of my employment with my present company. I had the chance to use a gift certificate that was given to me when I was nominated for "Employee of the Month". We went out to one of the new restaurants that is located in the golf course clubhouse that is located on the property of the thoroughbred racetrack where I work. We both ended up ordering the same chicken caesar wrap sandwich for lunch. We spent about 2 hours together this afternoon, and a great time was had by both of us.

What really meant the most to me is after we left the restaurant, she called me on my cell and thanked me for the wonderful time that she had.

She really means alot to me, and I wanted to do something special for the both of us, especially with our work schedules not being able to spend the time together as often as we both would like.

Thought I'd share my day today....

Yeah, I was wondering the same, with the thread title .I kept reading for the punchline or new Breaking News about the Challenger or something to do with any DCX product...but hay,,is nice to hear someone had a nice time..a blissful moment!!!! Did she like the ride in your 300C Vanilla ?
