I am also considering buying a caliber srt-4 butt i would buy the chally first and buy the caliber as a daily driver but i then it would be a used one so i could save for mods for my 392

Re: What other cars are you looking into?

i'd love to get the challenger, but if it turns out to be overpriced or overweight i've got a couple others in mind. if they build the camaro i'd definately have to test drive the camaro and the challenger and compare the two, though my money is on the challenger. i also, might just keep and mod my current car, an '05 cobalt SS supercharged. there's a couple companies working on staged kits and gm is also supposed to be releasing kits. what i would love to get is a twincharged kit, with that i could boost whp to above 400, but then i still have a fwd econobox. the evo x is deifinately on my list of cars i need to check out, as well as the new srt-4. and, with the new evo coming out, i'm sure subaru is going to answer with a higher hp sti. the audi shooting brake concept that is rumored to be the next tt also catches my attention, especially the hatchback version. the eclipse ralliart is also a pretty sick car, though i doubt they'll ever build it, especially not with the 4g63 in it. i'd love to see a mazdaspeed rx-8, though i'm pretty sure the 3 is next on the mazdaspeed list. toyota is rumored to be tinkering with the idea of an all new high performance supra, though it will probably be priced near the infiniti/nissan gtr... which is definately out of my league at the moment. the pontiac solstice gxp is alright, though i'd rather have a redline version of the sky, so i just hope they build it. a nice little 2 seat roadster with 260 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque could be a fun little car, and with a turbo 4 cyl, the modding potential is enormous. that's about all i can think of right now, so no i just have to wait for everything to come out so i can test drive them all and pick a winner. though, as it is right now, i'd really like to get into another mopar.

Re: What other cars are you looking into?

If they'd build a new `Cuda I'd have to get one of them too. I like the Daytona Cargers and SRT-8 Charger, the 300s and, of yeah I'm gonna get a 1996 Viper Blue w/ White stripes.

Re: What other cars are you looking into?

i don't like any of the new chargers, they're huge and you can't even get a manual in the srt-8 model let alone the daytona or r/t, and i'm not a fan of the interior of the 300. it try's too hard to seem like a luxury car, without really pulling it off. the magnum is practical, and i test drove and looked into buying an r/t, but i really wanted a manual so it became apparent that it wasn't what i was looking for.

Re: What other cars are you looking into?

There are no other cars! Its Challenger or Bust! I currently drive a 95 Dodge Stealth TT, which I love. However, the first time I seen the new concept Challenger, I immediately listed my car in autotrader to begin the savings plan!

Re: What other cars are you looking into?

I'm not really looking into antything else. I'm pretty set on buying this car once it comes it (maybe a bit after depending on the mark ups and etc.). If for some reason hell freezes over and this car doesn't come out, I might look into the Evo X, or some other type of sport compact. I'm not at all a fan of the Camaro or the Mustang, they just don't really appeal to me for some reason. Whatever happens, the car must be either rwd (my Challenger!!!) or awd (be very useful for winters too).

Re: What other cars are you looking into?

If I had to (like if my XJ gets totaled or somehow dies before 300k
), maybe that little diesel Jeep pickup (Gladiator I think) if they bring it out and it has solid axles front and back otherwise I'd look at used vehicles instead.
