What Are You Listening To !?!?

well, we got a thread that is on the brink of getting derailed HAHA !!!!

the other thread is fo music you listen to while in your car - this one is for music you are currently listening to, wether it be at work, at home or at your dad's house cooking up some BBQ and Ribs

you can post anything you want, but youtube videos are strongly reccomended

right now i'm in a country phase - listening to "older" country at home on my typical Friday off

Mel McDaniels - Louisiana Saturday Night

my family and i get together pretty much every weekend for some BBQ and to listen to ALL KINDS of music.

i think i got a lot of my dad's personality - he likes all kinds of music.

very free willed person with no ties to any one genre.

i have video of my 62 year old dad requesting some Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.

he also knows lyrics to Eminem and 2Pac.

on the other hand, he can sing every word to "I Love You" by Climax Blues Band and every word to "Seven Spanish Angels" by Willie Nelson.

that said, "Fishin in the Dark" is another great song that we listen to when we're chillin out at the gazebo.

here are 4 pictures of what i described in my last post.

my dad in the gazebo cooking on his little Emeril electric grill

he's got a RUN DMC shirt on LMFAO !!!! he actually watched them in Houston in the late 80's

oh, and the lat picture is of him wanting to watch the Dougie video HAHAHAHA !!!!

you see him just chillin in the gazebo - we literally sit there all day, cook and listen to music.

such an amazing feeling - eventhough the heat index is over 105 most of the last 5 months.

cherish these moments - they won't be here forever.

HAHAHA !!!!

that's awesome - same here.

i was born in 1980, so most of these songs were heard via my mom's alarm clock in the morning, back when radio jockeys didn't talk so damn much in the morning lol.

same with Randy Travis' "Forever and Ever, Amen".

uuughgh, that song was CONSTANTLY on the freaking radio HAHA !!!!

love the song though......
