Angry Who has the right?...... My final post.

For almost two years, I, as well as many folks in the Challengertalk/forum have followed the rebirth of the Challenger.
For just as long, I have seen and read some embarassing, aggrivating, and truly tasteless things going on in a number of related sites and forums - this one included.

I've seen pictures stolen from one site, watermarked with another site's addy and posted within those sites as if exclusive rights were given or garnered.
I've seen posts put up, taken down, and edited because of misleading information, and links to other sites - considered "taboo" (because they give credit where credit is truly due).
I've read whining and complaining from people who have nothing better to do, or are never satisfied.
I've read posts reflective of a total lack of gratitude to those who've repeatedly given credible information well in advance - sometimes going way out on a limb to do so - only to be met with criticism and complaints.
I've even endured (with many of you) the occasional militant/rogue moron who has nothing better to do with their time than to post some truly tasteless and usually pointless nonsense meant only to p*$$ off a few people - just for their own twisted satisfaction.

While it hasn't been anything close to everyone in here, a good number of you folks have b*+^hed and complained about everything under the sun, completely forgetting that you've gotten almost everything you've asked for - from Dodge, AND your fellow forum members. And still, many of you aren't happy, grateful, or even respectful. That's pretty pathetic.
While I agree, we have to express our wishes to Dodge, that isn't accomplished by attacking fellow forum members, whining, plagiarizing, inciting arguments, and exhibiting just plain immature behavior in here - or any other forum.

Anyone can be a "tough guy" behind the screen of a monitor - hundreds of miles away from the person you're attacking, plagiarizing, harassing or trying to intimidate- in anonymity. That's easy. Maintaining a level of respect and dignity is far more difficult - which many of you have proven is beyond you.

I don't envy the moderators in here - they have their work cut out for them.
And while I haven't mentioned anyone by name/ID, I'm sure those who feel they're being attacked in this thread WILL issue a defensive reply. Those are the folks to whom this is directed.

The Dodge Challenger is BACK! It's a far cry better than it ever was! Still, some of you aren't happy. "It weighs too much", "The colors are wrong", "The interior sucks", "There's no ashtray in the glove compartment",.......God only knows what complaints will come next. I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm not.
Take it or leave it, the production Challenger IS WHAT IT IS. You can buy it and share ideas on modifying it in here, or you can buy something else.
But for some of you, no matter where you go, no matter what you get, you'll NEVER be happy unless you're complaining about it to an audience.

I'll be ordering my Dodge Challenger R/T with a 6 speed TREMEC 380HP 5.7L VVT HEMI in a few months - maybe May or June, when the order banks open for the next model year.
When I take delivery, I'll be looking for ideas, suggestions and sources for changing those "minor design discrepancies" from what we bought to what we had in our minds-eye as the "perfect muscle car". With all of the complaints and lack of solutions offered, I doubt I'll find any in here.

It's been "interesting", folks. Good luck getting satisfaction - tough to find when all you look for is "fault and blame".

Re: Who has the right?...... My final post.

Sorry you feel that way, but it's seems to be the nature of some forums. Don't let the actions of a few spoil your experience here. The admins are pretty quick to take action for those with nothing better to do than be an "internet nutswinger" or are just here to troll.

I suggest if you have a problem with a particular individual, or you see something that's not right, either use the Report button or contact one of the admins.

Hopefully you'll change your mind and decide to stay.

Wink Re: Who has the right?...... My final post.

Just remember.... there are no age limits and there is no filter to keep gm and ford guys from bashing the challenger on here, or any forums.

Try not to let it get you down.... there are plenty of us that will be supporting the Challenger long after the others have left.

Re: Who has the right?...... My final post.

Bye. I hope you feel better now that you got all of this out.

Messageboards have always had the good and the bad. Always will. But it isn't going to stop me from reading and participating.

It shouldn't stop you either - and I have a sneaky suspicion it won't.

Here is some cheese with that whine! Lighten up buddy. Take the good with the bad friend, buy your Chally like I will and many others. Not to sound cliche, but Opinions are like A***holes, everyone's got them. It's the way of the world! Sounds like you are taking a little too seriously what people say and spending waaay too much time on these forums. DON'T, you'll live longer.

I agree with you 100% here. I am also guilty of calling a few people out for have this condescending attitude because they may have seen the production challanger for a few months, but sit back and rub it in our face that THEY do know what the Challenger is and isnt, but wont let us in on some facts.

Other than that, I think the Charger forums are going to be a better forums for fidig driveline information anyways, they have a couple of years under there belts...

Stick around, itll be a good ride!

Isn't this a case of the pot calling the kettle?

Sorry to hear someone upset you. Ignore and let go. Let the moderators work their side and look for the positives that come from these sites.

On the Charger forum I have learned many great things about my car and it has been a very positive experience.

I let one guy get to me on the other forum and my advice to you is to ignore them and they will go away. People who continually violate the rules get banned and are not heard from again. I only wish I had taken my own advice rather than let people get to me.
