There is no way to improve upon that. Any time you put dark, tinted plastic over headlights, they will be much dimmer. These are not for night-time use. Offroad, show, or day time use only.

I have them .. they block alot of light ... so I added HID's and see fine now ... but when I took a trip to Tenn. and drove thru the mountains .... I had to remove them .. but thats what makes them so great ... look sinister by day and if need be .. they come off in 2 seconds and go back on in 2 seconds .... all n all your only out 4 seconds

How do the covers mount? Velcro? What does it look like when you take them off?

These use dual lock fasteners, which are like heavy duty velcro-type round tabs, about a quarter (coin) size or a bit smaller in diameter. You'd see the headlight tab when the covers are removed.

You haven't had any problems with these? How long have you driven with them and the HIDs on?

When I was originally looking into these, I was told that HIDs will melt these suckers. Has something changed with their design from about a year ago?
