I left Sodom by the Bay behind me 5 years ago. I now live in Rural northern California where the vehicle of choice is a pickup truck. No Priuses to worry about. They are a holier than thou bunch of hypocrites though. Not all, but the majority are.
I'm one who wishes the car was 10% smaller and lighter keeping all else identical. But we are only given so many limited choices and among them, the Challenger just works better for my driving style than any other sporty coupe out there.
San Francisco huh - how do those Prius drivers look at you? I lived out there for almost 6 years (Noe Valley), but had to leave. I wanted to get a Hummer and some sort of bumper sticker that would pi$$ them off :-) I'm a friendly guy, but they just got my goat. A good one would be "Thanks Prius Drivers - I need the gas". :-)
And thanks for the post - you got where I was coming from - don't mess with a good thing, so what if it is heavy, the car rocks.
