Here is some more info on the bulb size. I believe it's 5mm. Check at superbrightleds.com

It's not all that difficult. You just have to remove the center console and take out the cupholder. Between the two are the small lights and you need to remove them. Just make sure to leave enough wire so you can connect the new lights. They are pretty tiny and you need to solder them to the wire leads. That's the hardest part altogether. Once you've finished connecting the wires, just reassemble. If you're comfortable with a soldering iron, entire process takes about an hour. Just make sure you have some soft type plastic tools to pry stuff up with, so nothing gets scratched.

Yeah German plates...military post in Germany. And yeah, she's a beautiful 2012 model, but nowhere near finished. I just have aesthetic mods so far, waiting for B&G to send my tune. Thanks.
