How do I remove the pistol grip shifter?! It's seems almost impossible without breaking something?

Its not too difficult, and I know that feeling, I bought a Shifter & the boot for over 400.. So it was a bit of a risk for me too. lol Ill see about taking pictures, id need to it apart a bit, but ill see what i can do whenever i dont need to drive the car lol PM your email and ill send you the pics and some instructions when i can!

its really not too hard, The boot has a black plasti ring that is stapled to the boot, which is clipped into the brushed metal looking shifter trim. All i did was take off the brushed trim, cut off the clips from the black ring, put the shifter boot under your stock shifter trim, (it lines up) and put the boot on the shifter (But dont clip in the shifter trim or boot) i held the boot around the rod tightly, while i used zip ties (Multiple) to zip tie it tightly the rod, But with a decent amount of the leather boot under the zip ties, as (wiggle room) Ill take some pictures if you want.
