Yeah... the brights on my scat pack with the standard projector lights aren't that bright at all. My 01 Buick Grandma work car has better brights than my new Challenger. Oh well. A minor drawback...

I actually double checked my math and called Weld about the 18x9 +28 offset wheels that I'm looking at and asked the person what they weigh and they said 20.75lbs each.

My 20x10 and 20x8 AR Torq...

I would agree with that for sure. I love power but there's also a comforting feeling to also not break into the engine at all and leave it all stock but get the car into the 11s on street tires with...

I would eventually add strut tower bars and sway bars for handling purposes. But just for drag racing or road racing events I feel like a lighter two piece rotor, smaller tires and forged wheels...

Instead of increasing power... focus on weight savings?

Was tooling around with the idea of instead of adding cam/headers/ported intake, etc to gain more power down the road but instead focus on brake/wheels/suspension mods to reduce weight and rotational...

Get the new Scat pack, you wont be disappointed. It's better in every way over the previous 392 cars. Wouldn't buy a used 2011 that had 60k miles on it anyway.

Definitely going to heat soak more on a FI car compared to NA. Just look at road course racing. Lap a supercharged car around a track 10 times and do the same with a NA car. It's obvious which one...

Stroker and being NA is more impressive than a supercharger build in my book. Anyone can slap a blower on but a built motor wins it for me.

Both are pretty much equally matched. I don't think there's a ton of difference on the drag strip in sport mode in the SP vs the track mode in the SRT.

I would disagree that no matter how experienced a manual driver may be, you're not going to out shift a computer that shifts in double digit milliseconds. Sorry but not gonna happen. Time it takes to...

I've got a 10 inch wide rear wheel with 18 offset and 295 tires. Sticks out just a hair. 295 tires would be perfect on the stock wheels with its offset of 25 or whatever it is.

If you don't want to lose low end torque then 1 3/4" long tubs are the way to go on major bolt on NA motor. 1 7/8" are for forced induction. It's all about what you're wanting to do with the car.

Some of the downshifts in sport mode in the A8 can be what some described as harsh. Esp the 2-1 shift at very low speeds. Believe it's normal actually.
