I don't think what red asked is out of line either. If someone from diablo would answer questions and not not be so defensive, that would be a plus. Ive got the 11+ intune and it is buggy as shit.

for the grill surround i cleaned and lightly sanded it with some fine sand paper. With the R/T emblem i went to hobby lobby(craft store) and got some white model paint and a thin paint bush.
