Oh, I completely agree with you. I have 2 on the rear...that's how I know. For being a "mundane" steelie, it does something very right, as far as looks. I have searched for better examples, but...

I don't have any specs for you, but I wanted to let you know beforehand, those 18" steelies are on the heavy side. They're as heavy as a 20" alloy wheel. If you are getting them widened, I'm sure...

I think that was the point of the character...he is supposed to be off-putting, even though you are rooting for him to get a leg-up at the beginning of the movie.

I enjoyed seeing the Challenger...

Boost is more accurately a "displacement multiplier" in the pressure domain, rather than a mystery source of power that only small engines can leverage...just like rpm is a displacement multiplier in...

rghoskins was simply trying to shift the goal posts of the argument, and you are right that nobody was trying to say a 5.7 v8 would automatically be better than a twin-turbo v6, as far as pk power...

Nothing was good in 1976. That's got nothing to do with v8 engines.

None of that changes the fact that v8 engines were the critical ingredient to make muscle cars a "thing" in the first place....

Many models fell into the muscle car family. That doesn't mean that all tiers of a model automatically became muscle cars, by mere association. What really made it a muscle car, was the engine that...

That's purely a boost-regulation effect. Turbos don't "naturally" peak at such a low rpm. It also doesn't account for spool-up time. When a manufacturer says a turbo engine can reach full torque...

Rest assured rghoskins, 5.7 owners do not care if you have a v6. They may not agree with your reasoning for the purchase, but really, it's your money to spend however you wish. I do feel that v6...
