putco dome led

awhile back i posted asking info on dome lights ...got a few suggestions but the cheapest and easiest was a bulb upgrade....i bought two putco dome lights and damn.....seriously i hit the lights and its instant daylight ....sunglasses at night ...lol..

are they led lights or just brighter versions of stock lights?

led...they have different colors...i went white....u no the stocks are yellowish...18 times brighter and 50,000 hours run time....10 bucks each.....but seriously think it over cuz they light up the block...

I bought mine about 2 years ago, way cheaper here and i also bought some for my license plates
Super Bright LEDs ? Festoon Light Bulbs

i actually bought eight of them, 2 for my car and 6 for my wifes journey, they still going on strong...there is a crossrefrence at top to see what you year/car needs

Thanks for the info. The bulbs ARE weak and yellowish, same as what's in the trunk. Between the light placement (too forward in both cases) and the output, the upgrade is on my to-do list.

I forgot to put that i ordered them in cool white and its very bright, its awsome i love it dont put back the little metal plate thats in there. You can leave it out as leds dont heat up, highly reccommend, and order maybe 2 extras for the just in case,,
