Advice for posting about an event

This is certainly not targeted at any one person, because I see it over and over again. When you create a post about an event what's the most important thing a reader needs to know?

LOCATION and DATE!

So many times I've read threads about car shows and the original post has nothing about the location in it. Some don't even have links to follow to find the location.

It helps to make the location and time of the event predominant in the post. Actually, in the title is best. That way you get immediate attention from those who may be near enough to attend.

This includes annual events. Many weren't there last year and need to know what you are talking about. If they can't find it, they can't attend.

Just a suggestion.

I can not tell you how many threads I've read for meets and when I was done I did not have a clue as to where they are having it

even some of the annual big ones no address to go to
