Driving Music. What's Your Preference?

When I get into my 392 I set a playlist of music. My preference is mostly 70's Rock, 80's Rock, 80's Slow Rock, Modern Rock, Jazz, older Hip Hop, R&B and Lounge music. "In the Air Tonight" is still my highway song that makes me feel like I have a heavy lead foot. Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" is another for me. I have an extensive list. Anyway, I'm curious to know what the rest of the Challenger world listens to when they are out and about.

60`s and 70`s Classic rock is what I am generally listening to. Yes, the Motor City Madman ROCKS!! Stranglehold and Cat Scratch Fever........
Classic Vinyl, Deep Tracks etc.

"Dead Man's Hand" by the Moonshine Bandits.

This is the new favorite in my 152 song Driving Playlist.

New school sound & bass to a classic them "Wide Open Highway"

All you need is a open road and a great car.

Tom Petty's Cant drive 55 just seems to result in gear changes and a howl form the exhaust.

When I get my scat pack I will be driving to some hard rock and some early punk Social Distortion nice and loud.😂

Swedish heavy metal mostly but most metal will do. Stuff like Scar Symmetry, Fear Factory, Pantera, Slayer, old Metallica, Testament, Gojira, Pain, Hypocrisy, Morbid Angel.....I could go on

OP pretty much nailed my list also. I even go back into the 60's some.

Try "House of the Rising Sun" by FRIJID PINK, that will put the throttle down better than STRANGLEHOLD IMO.

Add in some Black Keys and Gary Clark Jr.

Sublime (the band, not the color) when feeling mellow. Otherwise, it's Everclear, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, AC/DC, Motley Crue, Godsmack, and maybe some Beastie Boys (Paul's Boutique album primarily). Mostly 90's alternative.

In addition to the artists listed above, I'll occasionally throw on Kavinsky's Nightcall (opening song from the movie "Drive").
