I compare it to people who like to leave the clear plastic film that protects surfaces like the cell phone screen that is supposed to be removed once you take the phone out of the box. Just try to remove that film on one of these folks and you will know what the word "triggered" means.

Or perhaps it's like the "red ribbon" car superstition that is all the rage in China.

BTW I prefer the car be called a "chally" as opposed to a "charger".

For the same reason people leave all of the plastic on in the interior of their rides. It's pretty much a "neener neener", look at me, I've got a new car and you don't kind of thing. They tend to up-badge their cars when they find the money for it...
