Looks good, was on the fence doing the back up lights. Which bulb did you end up using for them?

I used the Oracle Ultra bright LED's. I think they have 9 diodes on each bulb. I don't feel they throw as much light as the stock halogens, but they look way cooler!!! Haha

We have a group buy posted for replacement LEDs, the stage 3 kit uses 80 watt LEDs and our Stage 2 backup lights are considerably brighter than stock.

Shoot me a PM if you need more info

Thanks Spin2Win....

got the same set up for my 2008 SRT...Web Electric seq.kit and just bought 8 LED's from superbright as you posted (same model #)...got new LED reverse lights as well...waiting on the new led markers...
I did not order the resistors because I was unsure...Installed outer Led's (left fender /right fender) checked it out before proceeding further...everything worked good...no resistors...4 LED's worked with 4 incadescent still in the middle....took trunk section off and replace those bulbs...Everything went to hell...spastic sequential and signals don't work well....
OK so I ordered the resistors (4) and am waiting for them as we speak....Your posts is well done! I will follow your guidelines...I was unsure where to install resistors...
Just an FYI...Web Electric tech guru Lawrence instructed me to work off the OEM wiring harness...claims if we tap into his seq. harness lifetime warranty goes away?!*......
I like your approach because its easier to work and get to the wiring...
I am going to splice into the outer wires of each socket in the trunk lid section and mount as you suggested....I am OK on electrical but not a guru.
I am guessing you used the blue splicers sent with the resistors to splice into each socket wire set...going to auto parts store for wiring, and bullet connectors....good idea.
Let me know if I am missing anything....;
Thanks again....TShader

2013 stock turn signal led bulb replacement

I replace the stock incandescent with LEd's and have hyperflash. Do I need 2 resistors per taillight (1 per bulb) or can I get 1 resistor to mount to master connection in trunk to have a better place to mount? Need some expertise.

Thank you for asking!

You'll need to add one resistor for every incandescent bulb that you replace with LED. That will match the resistance lost from switching to LEDs.

They can be mounted to a metal surface in the decklid, away from soft plastics or rubber.
