2019 Widebody, how to remove rear spoiler?

Hello all.

Just picked up a F8 Widebody Scat, love it.

I am going to put the rear bumble bee strip on the back in matt black.

I will need to remove the spoiler to install the stripe as part of it goes under the spoiler.

Looking at it there are 2 bolts, one on each side near the ends but nothing else I can see.

Im sure there is more than those two bolts holding it on.

It has the new spoiler, a little longer and more set back.

Anyone know how to get to them?

Thanks for your time,

Varooom

Stock or aftermarket stripe?

The OEM stripe is installed after the spoiler so no removal is necessary so I'd just get the right stripe and forget all the hassle of removing the spoiler.

Not sure if there is a difference between the WB or regular body, but I have started a thread where I posted PDF files of install instructions...one of which is for the factory wing. Hopefully it gives you the info you are looking for.

Along the same line I plan in the future to swap my lower factory spoiler for the taller version. The pictures of the taller spoiler on the build and price web sight did not show the taller height just the end extensions, otherwise I would have already had it installed during the build, Do both spoilers fit in the same factory holes? If so it would be a pretty easy swap and I won't need to look for an aftermarket, possibly poor fitting spoiler. Next question, how much is the taller spoiler dealer ordered? Not installed.

The various OEM spoilers (except the '09 - '14 Go Wing) will mount to the existing holes in the decklid.

Note that the '15+ spoilers with rear back-up camera have a wire harness that require a center hold in the decklid.

Otherwise, the end holes and double sided tape are utilized on these spoilers to mount them.

I already have the standard 2019 spoiler with the camera so it looks like it will be a straight swap for me.
