2010 RT Auto in Black. Bone stock. No options above the RT base package.

Picked it up on 11/09/18. Still in my garage with 21,256 miles. I have a company car so I get to drive the Challenger as my personal car for fun trips. She's a bit of a garage queen but I driver her all year round in SE Michigan. Just not in anything messy. It has to be dry and clear but I take her out in the winter.

I still have my 2009 Hemi Orange SRT and thoroughly enjoy it. I took delivery on December 13, 2008 from Bob Frederick and instantly became a "rock star." Everywhere I went people were asking me about it and taking photos.

Here's my nerve-racking purchase story. I knew that I was buying the SRT when I first saw photos of the 2006 concept car and, later, a 2009 production model at the Philadelphia Auto Show. As they say, "it was love at first sight." At the time, the car was in great demand and the factory was not offering any kind of incentives. In addition, dealers were adding on "market adjustments." I, however, found a dealer in Illinois, Champion Dodge, that would discount it $1,000. I quickly gave a $500 deposit, in May 2008, and starting the waiting game. On October 30, disaster struck. I got a tip from Brampton Builder, one of our members, that my order had been CANCELLED. What??? Who cancelled it? I immediately called the dealership only to learn that it had gone bankrupt! After getting over the shock, I disputed my deposit with VISA and got it credited to my card. My next step, after wasting 5 long months, was how to get a Challenger. I was desperate.

Fortunately, one of our former members, NOTSURE, put me in touch with Frederick Dodge. Bob Frederick was great and ordered an SRT for me (sticker price). However, after it was built, it was moved to a holding lot in Detroit and it sat there for 10 days. Another delay! Bob had to pull some strings to get it released and priority shipped to him. I then paid $500 for an enclosed trailer delivery from Ohio to my home in NJ. It arrived 6 days after my birthday and 12 days before Christmas- 7 long months after I started the process, but what a present!

Attached, are three photos showing the SRT at the Philadelphia Auto Show and its delivery at Frederick Dodge and at my home.

I don't have a 2010, I have a 2011 SRT8 and still love it. I will be supercharging it this winter. To keep it fresh.

I love the color of my car, so, I decided to keep it despite all the HellCat's out there. ...So, I figured, ah, what the heck. I'll change this stock beauty to be pretty and powerful. Go Whipple!

Original SRT Owners

I bought mine SRT8 in July 2009. I have 9k on it and drive it when I want to. Two years ago I added a 2.9 Whipple. Likely to never get rid of it.

My dad just bought this one with 3,500 miles on it.

Still have my 2010 SRT from May 2010. At 4K installed Magnuson 2300 and Im at 12K now.
I did get the Mopar bucks, which I used to install Mopar springs and sway bars, and some other nic nacks.

I still have my Silver 2008 Challenger SRT8 which I bought new from Alhambra Dodge in Alhambra,California on11/2008.
It just turned 43K miles.

I still love the car but unfortunately I just noticed that one of my lifters is bad and I have a loud tapping sound in the engine.
I'm not pleased at how much this will cost to replace the cam and lifters.

I'm thinking of selling it after the repair

2011 SRT8 off the showroom floor in Crestview, FL. Just hit 24K miles and still love every opportunity I get to take her out for a drive!
