+25 hp

So I have a 19 RT. And honestly I just want like 25 more HP and whatever amount of torque comes as a result of that. I come from turbo 4 bangers so I’m used to being able to just turbo tube and bam easy stage 1 power. But now that I’m in the all motor club, where should I start?

25 crank or rear wheel?

Longtubes and a tune will get you pretty close to what you are after and are probably the most cost efficient for power.

^^^ what he said, RTs definitely benefit from long tube headers. Cost wise you are looking at:

$250 for PCM unlock
$300 for HP tuners
$100 for HP credits
$1400 for LT headers & high flow cats
$250 for tune (will most likely consist of tweaking injector fueling as opposed to going speed density and messing with the VE tables which is a lot more work)

$2300 for ~+30RWHP ($77 per HP) and a very aggressive WOT exhaust note. Just make sure state emissions won't cause you any grief. I would also spend a couple of hundred more and get a wideband and weld in some O2 bungs...makes tuning a whole lot easier.

HP ain't cheap on these rides...add-ons vary from $65-$80 per HP. I think on your 2019 you don't have to unlock the PCM but you will need a bypass cable.

Welcome to Dodge. We've discussed this many times here. The little extra that's possible costs big $$$

Then there's the fact that when ya go to sell the car in a couple years, nobody wants it because of the mods you've made. Sure ya wanna do this?

Reason it costs so much to pick up such a small amount of power? We've said before that Dodge did some serious development with these engines. They're tuned pretty aggressively right from the factory according to the consensus on this forum over the past several years. Since they didn't leave much "on the table," the usual upgrades that produce big power on other platforms don't work so well here. Dodge already squeezed most of what could be had out of these engines.

Yep, buy as much factory HP as you can afford, then enjoy the heck out of it.
