Hellcat Drive Shaft

From what I've been reading the driveshaft in the Hellcat is a weak link.
Anyone know if 2019 DS have been improved?

Doubtful. They work the way dodge designed them, which was not drag racing on slicks or drag radials.
Upgrade to an aluminum or carbon fiber one from one of the major vendors out there if you want a “bulletproof” setup.

The DS is Not a weak link.

Only a small percentage have failed and that was due to hard launches at the track on slicks or DR's as stated above.

I have never heard of a DS failure on the street and many 1/4 miles have been run with OEM DS's without failure.

It was improved in 2016, and also again in 2018 for the Demon and Redeye. If you plan any major power upgrades then it is a good idea to upgrade to a 1 piece aluminum or CF driveshaft.
